“I will forever be glad we rode the Love Island journey along.”
It’s been 3 weeks since Love Island left our screens for the year – and
one couple have just declared that their journey along is over too.
Chris Taylor and Harley Brash have formally become the primary couple to separate following the
show’s finish. Chris shared
the news in an uncharacteristically
serious Instagram post, stating that they’d come to the choice on Sunday night
(August 18).
“Both of us have been terribly busy with separate
opportunities and haven’t had enough quality time for each other,”
Chris’ post reads.
“We both have the uppermost support
and respect for one another and the call was made amicably.
I would like her
all the best and will forever be glad we rode
the Love Island journey along.
“I will be terribly pleased with everything she has
done and everything she’ll do ❤️ the future is bright crumpet go get em! Chris xx”
Harley later shared on her own Instagram:
“Hey guys. I’m going to make this short and sweet however I’m so unhappy to say
me and Chris have determined to go our separate ways. We made this call yesterday evening and I wish him every
bit of luck within the world.
“Chris, you’re an incredible person
and deserve every bit of affection and success coming your way.
I’m so lucky to have shared my crazy love
island experience with
you.”
Reports that the couple had in secret split began last week,
and one of the pair’s Love
Island co-stars didn’t seem too shocked by the rumors.
Nabila Badda said: “I knew Harley before
and who she’d have an interest in and I don’t assume that Chris is her kind of type. She said that in addition. So, yeah. Chris will be lapped up real fast.”

It’s not all bad news for previous Love Island stars although, as Curtis Pritchard has declared plans for yet one more new TV project.
Curtis and his Strictly come dancing professional brother
AJ are set to front a pair of
films for Lorraine , where they surprise those who are going through a rough time and bring a bit dance magic into their lives.
“It’s been a whirlwind since leaving Love
Island,” Curtis said. “And I’m so excited to have the chance to join the
team at Lorraine.”
Love Island aired on ITV2, and you can catch up
on the show via ITV Hub.
